DIRECTV NOW wanted to position themselves ahead of the competition as an alternative to traditional cable with their no satellite, no cord streaming services. Tasked with getting new customers and luring back ex-customers, strategic web banner placement and sponsored social media promoted attractive incentives. High viewership games of World Cup, Wimbledon, NBA Finals was an opportunity to pitch DIRECTV NOW, with over 60 sports channels, as sports central for every sports fan for live, streamed, or recorded games.
